Taoyuan’s railway system and the MRT’s circular network (the Airport MRT, Green Line, Brown Line and Sanying MRT Line extension to Bade) will create a rail system that encircles Taoyuan and dramatically reduces the distance among Taipei, New Taipei and Taoyuan,the Taipei metropolitan area. By boosting the development in this area, the system will reduce transit times within this area to less than one hour.
