To respond to the ongoing economic globalization and internationalization of enterprises, Taoyuan City Government has established the “Taoyuan City Investment Service Center.” We take care of the practical needs of enterprises and support different aspects of investment orientations, such as land, talents, capital and business operations. Providing assistance in laws and administrative procedures, we welcome and invite domestic benchmark business, multinational chain companies or start-ups to invest in Taoyuan.
During 2015 to the end of March 2024, “Taoyuan City Investment Service Center” has assisted a total of 276 investment cases, with an approximate investment amount of US$36.98 billion. (Note: This does not include the investment amount of the Three Major Investment Plans in Taiwan.)
➊ In 2015, a total of 3 projects that include Ally Logistics Property (ALP), Costco and Gloria Outlets, etc. The investment amount is about US$0.92 billion.
➋ In 2016, a total of 28 projects that include the Ansett Aviation Asia (Australia), Micron Technology, Inc. (Taiwan) and Japanese business Taiwan Yotsuba Foodtech Co., Ltd (Japan), etc. The investment amount is about US$6.41 billion.
➌ In 2017, a total of 26 projects that include The Oyatsu Company Taiwan Limited (Japan), Landmark Life Plaza, and Taiwan 3M Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing Company, etc. The investment amount is about US$2.07 billion.
➍ In 2018, a total of 19 projects that include Medfirst Healthcare Service, Inc. (Taiwan), IKEA (Sweden), etc. The investment amount is about US$2.31 billion.
➎ In 2019, a total of 25 projects that include Greenfiltech, GLORIA OUTLETS, Advantage International Green Energy Co., Ltd., Super Micro Computer, Inc. Taiwan, Hongda Development Co., Ltd., Senao Networks Inc. (SNI), Chunghwa Precision Test Tech. Co., Ltd. (CHPT), etc. The investment amount is about US$3.09 billion.
➏ In 2020, a total of 40 projects that include Evergreen International Storage and Transport Corporation, STARLUX Airlines Co., Ltd., Unimicron Technology Corporation, Walsin Technology Corporation, etc. The investment amount is about US$3.95 billion.
➐ In 2021, a total of 32 projects that include Chunghwa Post Co., Ltd., KANTO-PPC Inc., Liberty Stationery Corp., Advanced Semiconductor Engineering, Inc. (ASE), Daiwa House Industry Co., Ltd. TAIWAN BRANCH (JAPAN), Shinkong Synthetic Fibers Corp., Microsoft Corporation, Carrefour Group, Bausan Logistics, etc. The investment amount is about US$4.72 billion.
➑ In 2022, a total of 21 projects that include NORDAM Asia Limited (NAL), Maywufa Healthcare Group, Test Research, Inc., Cathay Life Insurance, Super Energy Materials, Inc., Microsoft Taiwan, etc. The investment amount is about US$7.05 billion.
➒ In 2024, a total of 69 projects that include United Parcel Service of America, Inc., Champak Enterprise Company Ltd., MaxZipper Co.,Global Medical Solutions Taiwan,Ltd., Cathay Life Insurance Company Ltd.,Dfi Home Furnishings Taiwan ,Ltd., DKSH Taiwan, Ltd., etc. The investment amount is about US$5.47billion.
By the end of March 2024, a total of 13 projects that include Cheng Loong Corporation, Panasonic Eco Solutions Electrical Construction Materials Taiwan Co., Ltd., BDX Data Center (Taiwan) Co., Ltd.,etc. The investment amount is about US$0.99 billion.
